Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Singapore

Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple in located along 397 Serangoon Rd, Singapore 218123.

The temple opens between 5:30 am–12 pm in the morning and again at 5:30–9 pm in the evening on all days except Saturdays where the temple only opens between 1–9:30 pm.

It’s worth noting that there are two other Hindu temples along this Serangoon Road which are:

-          Sri VeeramakaliammanTemple - 141 Serangoon Rd, Singapore 218042

-          Sri VadapathiraKaliamman Temple - 555 Serangoon Rd, Singapore 218174

The Sri Srinivasa Perumal temple grounds are much larger in comparison to the two other temples found on Serangoon Road. There is an on-site parking lot and a separate function hall (mandapam) behind the temple. Visually, the Gopuram of this temple also appears larger than the other two temples.

As the name suggests, this temple is dedicated to Perumal (also known as Vishnu) and overall this temple appears to be well funded with visibly more priests, more space, and a greater overall size. The main deity is adorned with lots of decorations and has a grand presence. The main temple complex was constructed in 1855 and they’ve since added many additional features along the way.

This temple focusses on the mainstream Hindu Gods and there aren’t any Tamil regional gods – which can be found in the other two temples along Serangoon Road.

Overall this a nice temple and it can be easily accessed by Buses and Car.
